Generally fine to toss
Furniture, household junk, remodeling debris (wood, drywall, flooring), roofing shingles, yard waste and brush, and most non-hazardous construction material. This covers the vast majority of cleanout and remodel projects.
Keep these out
Wet paint, chemicals, oil, and solvents; tires; car batteries; asbestos; refrigerators and AC units with refrigerant (unless drained and tagged); and anything flagged hazardous. These have special disposal paths.
Heavy materials need a heads-up
Concrete, brick, dirt, and roofing are heavy enough to hit weight limits fast — they often need a dedicated container. Tell us if your load is heavy and we'll size it right so you don't get an overage surprise.
